SIP-TI AND VIRGINIA TECH FORGE STRATEGIC COLLABORATION IN AI AND DRONE TECHNOLOGIES

Switzerland Innovation Park Ticino has signed a letter of intent for cooperation with Virginia Tech, a renowned research institution. This strategic collaboration aims to drive innovation in key areas of artificial intelligence and drone technologies.

The three main pillars of cooperation include advanced research and student exchange between SUPSI, IDSIA, and Virginia Tech, applied research and vertical applications, as well as industry and market driven innovation guided by Swiss Drone Base Camp along with the College of Engineering and the Mid-Atlantic Aviation Partnership (MAAP).

This strategic partnership promises to catalyze significant advancements in technological innovation, leveraging the complementary expertise of both institutions to address global challenges and shape the future of research and development in the fields of artificial intelligence and drone technologies.
